    FORESTVILLE, MD

    Robert Louis Jackson Jr., 35, of Forestville, MD, went on to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

    Robert graduated from Aliquippa High School, class of 1992, and attended Ridgley Ministries, C.O.G.I.C., Upper Marlboro, MD under pastor's Herbert and Herldleen Russell.

    Born to Rita and Robert Jackson, Sr., Rob, affectionately known as RJ, was a federal employee of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission of Maryland.

    He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vivian Jackson; great-aunt, Catherine Vallot and cousins, Norman and Alfred Vallot.

    Besides his parents, Rob is survived by his loving family members: sister, Rashaan; brother, Branden; niece, Ranisha; grandparents, Jewel and Clifford Hall Sr.; uncles, Clifford Jr., and Jerome Cowart, Bernard Thornton; aunt, Ollie Thornton; cousins, Lisa Walker, Baldwin, Mildred Miller, Lanette Simmons and Belinda Miller, Rev. Madelyn and Rev. Marvin Denson, Sonja, Jason and Derrick Hunter, Andre Thornton, Juanita Crawford and Martha Everett. He will also be missed by his best friend, Darron Henry; special friend, Marteilles Warren, and devoted friend, Dr. Dudley R. Tynes along with a host of other family and friends.

    Rob's passion was God and Christ Crucified and Risen. He was on the Board of Ministers of The First Church of God In Christ, "The Church in the Round", Aliquippa, PA, Bishop Melvin E. Clark and was very involved with its music ministry. He was beloved by many in the gospel and music industry. His love of and participation in Praise and Worship was characterized as phenomenal among friends and family.

    RJ was a passionate and loving man and a great friend to many. His brilliant smile, humor and laughter, along with his dedication to Jesus Christ continue to light up the darkest of places.

    There will be a viewing on Monday, October 4, 2010 at The Church in the Round, Woodrow and Griffith Sts., Aliquippa, PA from 4 to 8 p.m.

    The Homecoming and Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at 12 noon at the Church In The Round with Bishop Melvin E. Clark Sr. officiating.

    Friends and family will be received at the home of Roberta Watkins, 135 Orchard Street, Aliquippa, PA.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The University of New York, BEOC, 111 Livingston Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Checks should be payable to BEOC Student Fund.

    Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Aliquippa, PA.

    Arrangements entrusted to WHITE MEMORIAL CHAPEL OF POINT BREEZE.
