Christopher Charles Ealey, 22, of Springdale MD, died October 5, 2015. He was born on February 16, 1993, in Washington, DC, to Zandra Brandon and Lester Charles Ealey, Jr. Chris attended Highland Park Christian Academy, Ardwick Ardmore Elementary school, Flowers High School and subsequently graduated from Forestville Military Academy in 2011.

Christopher loved sports and was a member of the Glenarden Boys and Girls Club where he participated in football and basketball.

Even though Chris’ life was cut short at a tender age, he loved life and loved to travel. He had a captivating smile that endeared him to everyone he met.

Chris had the pleasure of visiting Canada and Guyana, his mother’s native land. He enjoyed all Caribbean foods especially pepperpot which he looked forward to at Christmastime. Anyone who knew Chris knows he loved to eat. It was a pleasure cooking just to watch him enjoy the food.

Chris always wanted to visit Europe and finally made it to England in 2007. He had the time of his life visiting Buckingham Palace and touring London, Enfield and New Castle. He then visited Paris with his Aunt and Uncle where he toured the Eiffel Tower, walked up the steps of Arc de Triomphe and enjoyed eating at the bistros in Paris. It was a wonderful experience for him.

As young student ambassador, Chris visited the World Bank where he was introduced to the workings of the Bank and the important work it does around the world. At the end of the day he was presented with a certificate. That was a very important and happy day for Chris.
Chris’ desire was to become an electrician. At the time of his death, he was in the process of applying for the apprenticeship program.

Christopher is survived by his parents: Zandra Brandon and Johnluke Ealey (Andrea); his brothers: Matthew Alexander BrandonEaley, Gabriel T. Ealey, Terrence Q. Ealey and Lester C. Ealey, III; his sisters: Stacy Rosalin Ealey, Sarah A. Ealey, Whitney A. Hutcheson and Kelly O. Pigford. His maternal grandmother: Rosalin Brandon; aunts: Cleopatra Islar (Gerald) and Juanita Ealey; his uncle Ronnie Ealey; nephews and nieces: Sanaa, Terrence, Jr. and Imani Ealey, Darryl and Ariel Kemp, Ayden Young, Kamari Hinton and Keion Hutcheson, cousins: Javon Ealey (Jennifer); Chakia, Naomi, Isaiah and Joshua Ealey; Tracy Faustin (Guillaume) of Paris, France; Ian Sinkamba (Gill) of New Castle, England; and Hugh Sinkamba of London, England. Chris will be terribly missed by a host of cousins, family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by J. B. Jenkins, Landover, MD.
