  1. I live very near where this happened. I was up at the time of the gunshots and heard them. I will say that it sounds as if it came from a automatic type of gun. After the gunshots I could hear the car whisk down the street towards DC.

  10. I miss u Marcel . I miss seeing you and my brother Jamil always together laying out on my mothers couch after yall both partied hard. I will never forget that day my father told me what happened. I cried my eyes out because I knew jamil was with you. Till this day when jamil comes home from a night out I still look to see you right next him and both of yall layed out on the couches snoring.

  12. HELLO,I DID NOT KNOW MARCEL BUT I KNEW HIS FATHER WHEN I WAS A TODDLER. IT WAS IN 1976-1977. MY MOTHER WAS IN SEVERE TRAUMA AND WE WERE GOING THROUGH VERY, VERY HARD TIMES - WE WERE IN HIS HOME WITH ROOM AND BOARD. FOR A WHILE.

TODAY MY MOTHER IS IN GREAT HEALTH AND I AND MY MOTHER SAY TO RENE THAT NOT ONLY ARE UNTIL TODAY WE MOST GRATEFUL FOR THAT RELIEF BUT ALSO WE ARE TRULY AND SINCERELY SORRY FOR YOUR SON'S DEATH AND GOD BLESS HIM. HE IS,IN HEAVEN.

    BE BRAVE.

  13. Marcel, it's hard seeing your name alongside other homicide victims. It's even harder to accept the reality that is, and just a short time ago, that used to be. It wasn't supposed to happen this way, so I thought. I just knew you had more time than what was allowed. Now, I see nothing is certain. I pray that you're at peace. So rest Marcel, until we meet again. Love and miss you always! Mom
