She was a beautiful person, and an excellent student. I wish the press cared as much about her as they did Chandra Levy. Why hasn't anyone followed up on this story? It was a gruesome crime, and Dominique deserves the same consideration as anyone else.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with the previous comment....it saddens me that nothing else has been said about Dominique, she was, a daughter, sister, and MOTHER to two beautiful little girls and not as much as a follow up has been done. I pray that her murderer will be brought to justice so that he can feel/see the pain he has put her family through.
ReplyDeleteResponding to the recent comments. It's sad, but true. Within this society it appears race matters more than compassion. I say, why fault the media? Bigotry has been in existence for hundreds of years. It's not going anywhere no time soon. All one can do is keep caring, keep hoping, most important keep praying. God hears you, she hears you! Its people like you that keep victims like Ms. Dominique Diane Curtis alive and remembered. God Bless you both. Rest in peace Dominique. Justice will come soon.
ReplyDeleteIts been almost over a year and I'm still morning my sister I just will like to know where the case have gone still have not heard anything and would love to know is there someone still working her cas eshe did not deserve this and neither did we DOMO I love you and and will never forget you and hope that they can close your case so you rest in peace...just hope that you guys haven't gave up on this case
ReplyDeleteI agree with the last comment. My sister did not deserve this brutal act..she was loving, always had a smile on her face! Everytime I see marquita I see Dominique and it saddens me that nothing has been done about this case...I hope everyone still prays, does not give up hope, and the police put the "person" away who did this...
ReplyDeleteI can't believe its been almost a year and we still know the same amount of information. This is ridiculous whatever the reason behinf there not being a follow up, is messed up, everybody on this whole "stop snitchin" bs but y'all leaving a family and her two little girls in pain cause ppl too scared. I tell you one thing if I knew ANYTHING about who did this the police would know, her killer does not deserve to walk around and enjoy life while she can't. I miss you Domo may you r.I.p I love you
ReplyDeleteHello, everyone. It's funny. I just suddenly thought of Dominique and decided to check up on her in the only way I can -- through the internet. To the sisters: Dominique was a beautiful person. I can't tell you what a pleasure she was to have as a student at MEI Futures. And I know how much you all must miss her. My condolences, ladies. I agree with you all. Justice for Dominique!
ReplyDeleteI have been sitting and waiting for a phone call, for someone to say that her case is closed.this is so F'd up that it takes them so long to close her case but when its some white girl her case would have been closed on the 2nd day.Dominique was my heart,my bestfriend, the mother of my child.now i have to tell Jayla that her mom has pasted away and that the police have not yet solved her case

to the family: keep calling and visiting the police department over and over again. that's the only way this case will get attention. it's sad but true.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to my beautiful sister Dominique whose life was taken at the age of 21. I know you are watching over us and helping to guide your beautiful daughters. No justice has been served on your behalf but I believe what is meant to happen to that "person" will happen when the time is right. Love u always. Never forgotten 4/15/88-6/5/09
