Lakeshia Evans
The Prince George’s County Police Department arrested two suspects in connection with the January 1, 2014, homicide in New Carrollton. The suspects are identified as 26-year-old Lakeisha Colena Evans and 28-year-old Adrienne Jacobe Bell, both of the 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive in New Carrollton. The victim is identified as 28-year-old Vondrell Lemar Smith of the 7800 block of Riverdale Road in New Carrollton.
On January 1, 2014, at about 4:30 am, police officers from the New Carrollton Police Department were called to the 5500 block of Karen Elaine Drive for a shooting. When the officers arrived, they found Smith outside suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He died of his injuries a short time later.
