    • Less than half a mile from the 22 Apr 2011 murder of Michael Chamberlin, 17
    • There were several other murders in this and adjacent blocks from 2005 to 2010.

    On April 19, 2011, THERIN A. MARTIN is survived by his loving wife, his parents, four sons, four daughters, two brothers, two sisters, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 12 from 10 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at the Peace Baptist Church, 712 - 18th St. N.E. Rev. Dr. Michael C. Bell, pastor. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. Services entrusted to HACKETT'S.
